Built for UK dryliners
A quoting app for dryliners that doesn't stop at the quote. Price the stud, the boarding and the tape and joint from your own m² rates, then it takes the deposit, books the job in and gets you paid.

The only bit you do
Say the areas or photo the shell: so many m² of metal stud boarded both sides, MF ceiling, level 4 finish, insulated board on the external walls. It prices each one at its own m² rate.
Photo the shell or say the areas. Stud, boarding, taping, MF ceilings and insulated board come back as separate priced lines.
Put a tape in shot, tap two points and it measures. Anything you didn't measure is marked for you to check.
Priced from your own m² rates. Drylining starts you at £48/m² for a boarded metal stud partition, £22/m² to board a ceiling, £12/m² for a level 4 tape and joint and a £220 day rate, and you change every figure to yours.
Your price list, day one
Real UK starting prices for dryliners, already in your list on the first day. Every one of them is yours to change, and your rates are what the quotes price from.
| Work | Starter price |
|---|---|
| Metal stud partition + board both sides | £48/m² |
| Board ceiling | £22/m² |
| Tape & joint (level 4 finish) | £12/m² |
| Insulated plasterboard to wall | £42/m² |
| Dryliner day rate | £220/day |
Starting points for 2025 and 2026, meant to be tuned to your patch. Change one in Settings and every future quote uses it.
Board, track, stud, screws, tape, jointing compound and insulation come off the m² you priced at real coverage rates. One take off, priced up at the merchant with your markup.
You can put a names only list on the customer's copy so they can see what you are supplying, with your buying and your markup kept to yourself.
After you tap Send
A quote is the easy half. The half that eats your evenings is the deposit, the diary, the invoice and the chasing. That is the half InstaQuote does for you.
The deposit
You set the deposit on the quote. The customer pays it by card from the link on their phone, with nothing to install, and it lands in your account through Stripe.
The booking
The deposit books the job. They pick a free slot themselves, they get the confirmation and the reminder, and they can move it themselves from the same link.
The calendar
Your week fills in as the deposits land, and it syncs to Google so the diary on your phone matches the one in the van.
The materials
The take off from the quote is ready to go to your merchants for a price, with your markup on it and kept on your side of the paperwork.
The invoice
Mark the job done and the invoice is drafted for you, priced off the quote with the extras you added on site. One tap and it's gone.
The chasing
If it goes past its date, polite nudges go out in your name until it is paid. Three at most, then it stops and tells you. You are not the bad guy and you are not on the phone.
VAT and CIS
Nearly all of your work is for contractors, so the CIS deduction and the VAT reverse charge are worked out on every quote and invoice where they apply, the HMRC way. Your VAT return figures come out ready for you or your accountant to file.
The books
On the Accounts plan (£89/mo) it keeps the books behind all of it: expenses, what each job actually made, and your VAT return figures ready for you or your accountant to file with HMRC.
7 days of the whole thing, on real jobs, before you pick a plan.
Plain pounds, no call with sales
No card to start the trial, so nothing can be taken by accident. Run real jobs through it for a week, then pick a plan. If you don't, your account pauses and nothing is deleted.

£89/mo
Everything in Founders, plus the books and the crew.
£99/mo
Accounts, plus a website that brings dryliners work in.
Complete is £99/mo for the first 300 members and stays at that price for the life of your plan. It is £119/mo after that. Want the website on its own? It is £39/mo, on top of any plan, with no charge per enquiry.
Cancel any time from Settings, no minimum term and no phone call. During the trial the only money we take is a 2.9% InstaQuote fee on card payments you collect through it; paid plans have no InstaQuote fee at all. Stripe's standard card rate applies either way.

The money questions (the trial, cancelling, your data) are answered on the homepage FAQ, and the how-to guides are in Answers.
Yes. Boarding, taping to a level 4 finish and double boarding a fire ceiling are separate lines at separate rates, so a taping only package prices properly.
It works them off the m² you priced at real coverage rates, along with the track, stud, screws and tape. It is a starting take off you change before it goes to the merchant.
Yes, on the quote and on the invoice, worked out the HMRC way rather than left as a note for you. You set it per customer, so a bit of direct work for a homeowner stays clean.
Yes, on the Accounts plan. Up to 10 crew logins see the jobs, the schedule and what is on, and post progress and hours from site. They never see your rates or your margin.
Quote the job in about a minute from your own rates. Then it takes the deposit, books the job in, drafts the invoice, chases the money and works out the VAT and CIS. You just turn up and do the work.
