Why us, not the others
Two things no other trade app we checked will do.
We read ten rival apps on their own websites. Plenty of them make a quote. We didn't find these on any of them.
The deposit books the job.
Your customer pays the deposit on the quote you sent, and the job books itself into your next free days. If the date doesn't suit, they move it themselves. No other app we checked does all of that from a quote you wrote.
The books keep themselves.
Upload your bank statement and it matches the money to your invoices and expenses, then shows what to put aside for tax as the year goes.

You set the deposit on the quote. The customer pays it by card from the link on their phone, with nothing to install, and it lands in your account through Stripe.
The booking
The deposit books the job into your next free day. They get the confirmation and the reminder, and they can move it themselves from the same link.
The calendar
Your week fills in as the deposits land, and it syncs to Google so the diary on your phone matches the one in the van.
The materials
The take off from the quote is ready to go to your merchants for a price, with your markup on it and kept on your side of the paperwork.
The invoice
Mark the job done and the invoice goes out on its own, priced off the quote with the extras you added on site.
The chasing
If it goes past its date, polite nudges go out in your name until it is paid. Four at most over three weeks, then it stops and tells you to give them a call. You are not the bad guy and you are not on the phone.
VAT and CIS
Work for a builder, a contractor or a developer and the CIS deduction is worked out on the quote and the invoice. If you're both VAT registered, tick the reverse charge too and the wording follows. Work straight for a homeowner and both stay off.

Cancel any time from Settings, no minimum term and no phone call. During the trial the only money we take is a 2.9% InstaQuote fee on card payments you collect through it; paid plans have no InstaQuote fee at all. Stripe's standard card rate applies either way.

4 answers · No small print

Can I quote off a photo the customer sends?
Yes. They send you a photo of the pile, you drop it in and type what it is, and you get a priced quote back to send them.
Can I get paid before I tip?
Yes. Send the pay link on the day, by email, and by text if you switch texts on in Settings. They pay by card, the app marks it paid and files it for your accounts and your VAT.
Do you handle regular builder customers?
Yes. Each builder is a customer with their own job history, and you can send one invoice per load or bill them monthly with a recurring invoice.
Is site clearance CIS work?
