Watch the job run itself
Why us, not the others
We read ten rival apps on their own websites. Plenty of them make a quote. We didn't find these on any of them.
Your customer pays the deposit on the quote you sent, and the job books itself into your next free days. If the date doesn't suit, they move it themselves. No other app we checked does all of that from a quote you wrote.
Upload your bank statement and it matches the money to your invoices and expenses, then shows what to put aside for tax as the year goes.
On the Accounts plan
Checked on their own websites, 18 to 26 September 2026: Tradify, Powered Now, Fergus, ServiceM8, Jobber, Commusoft, YourTradebase, QuickPrice, VoxTrade and PriceUp. See it app by app.
The only bit you do
Type in the size and what they want: the base, the frame, the cladding, the roof, the electrics and the doors. It comes back as priced lines with the timber, the insulation and the EPDM against each one.
Photo the garden and the access, or type it in. Base, shell, cladding, roof, electrics and doors come back as separate priced lines.
Put a tape in shot, tap two points and it measures. Anything you didn't measure is marked for you to check.
Priced from your own list, not a generic calculator. Garden rooms start you at £105/m² for the concrete base, £850/m² for an insulated shell and a £260 day rate, and you change every figure to yours in the setup.
Your price list, day one
Real UK starting prices for garden room builders, already in your list on the first day. Every one of them is yours to change, and your rates are what the quotes price from.
| Work | Starter price |
|---|---|
| Concrete base for garden room | £105/m² |
| Garden room shell (timber frame, insulated) | £850/m² |
| Cedar / composite cladding | £115/m² |
| EPDM flat roof to garden room | £95/m² |
| Garden room fitter day rate | £260/day |
Starting points for 2025 and 2026, meant to be tuned to your patch. Change one in Settings and every future quote uses it.
See the full garden rooms & outbuildings price list, freeEvery line carries its materials, so the shell brings the C24, the OSB, the PIR and the membrane, and the roof brings the EPDM and the trims. One take off to price up at the merchant.
You can put a names only list on the customer's copy so they can see what you are supplying, with your buying and your markup kept to yourself.
After you tap Send
A quote is the easy half. The half that eats your evenings is the deposit, the diary, the invoice and the chasing. That is the half InstaQuote does for you.
The deposit
You set the deposit on the quote. The customer pays it by card from the link on their phone, with nothing to install, and it lands in your account through Stripe.
The booking
The deposit books the job into your next free day. They get the confirmation and the reminder, and they can move it themselves from the same link.
The calendar
Your week fills in as the deposits land, and it syncs to Google so the diary on your phone matches the one in the van.
The materials
The take off from the quote is ready to go to your merchants for a price, with your markup on it and kept on your side of the paperwork.
The invoice
Mark the job done and the invoice goes out on its own, priced off the quote with the extras you added on site.
The chasing
If it goes past its date, polite nudges go out in your name until it is paid. Four at most over three weeks, then it stops and tells you to give them a call. You are not the bad guy and you are not on the phone.
VAT and CIS
Work for a builder, a contractor or a developer and the CIS deduction is worked out on the quote and the invoice. If you're both VAT registered, tick the reverse charge too and the wording follows. Work straight for a homeowner and both stay off.
The books
On the Accounts plan (£109/mo) it keeps the books behind all of it: expenses, what each job actually made, and your VAT return figures ready for you or your accountant to file with HMRC.
7 days of the whole thing, on real jobs, before you pick a plan.

Our word
Seven days on real jobs: quoting, jobs, invoices, chasing and the books. We don't ask for a card until you pick a plan.
No card to start. At the end you pick a plan, or the account pauses with nothing deleted. The only thing we take in the free week is 2.9% of card payments you collect through the app.
Every price is on this page, in pounds. No demo to sit through first.
Accounts covers up to 10 crew logins for the same monthly price. Taking someone on doesn't put your bill up.
Every customer, quote, invoice, photo and receipt, downloaded in one file, on any plan, even after you've cancelled.
Plain pounds, no call with sales
No card to start the trial, so nothing can be taken by accident. Run real jobs through it for a week, then pick a plan. If you don't, your account pauses and nothing is deleted.

Cancel any time from Settings, no minimum term and no phone call. During the trial the only money we take is a 2.9% InstaQuote fee on card payments you collect through it; paid plans have no InstaQuote fee at all. Stripe's standard card rate applies either way.

The money questions (the trial, cancelling, your data) are answered on the homepage FAQ, and the how-to guides are in Answers.
Yes. Base, shell, cladding, roof, electrics and doors are separate lines, so the customer can see where the money goes and you can drop an option without redoing the quote.
Yes. Take a deposit on acceptance, then raise invoices as the stages finish. The app drafts each one and chases it if they're slow.
Yes. Each line carries its own materials, so the take off builds itself as the quote does: the studs, the boards, the PIR, the membrane and the fixings.
Work for a builder, a contractor or a developer and the CIS deduction is worked out on the quote and the invoice. If you're both VAT registered, tick the reverse charge too and the wording follows. Work straight for a homeowner and both stay off.
Type the job or snap a photo and it prices it from your own rates. Then it takes the deposit, books the job in, drafts the invoice, chases the money and works out the VAT and CIS. You just turn up and do the work.
