How a quote for landscapers gets built.
Walk the garden and talk it through: patio size, how many fence panels, the turf, the muck away. It comes back as priced lines you can read out to the customer, with the slabs, MOT and sand listed against each one.

The materials come with it
Every line carries its materials, so a patio brings the slabs, the MOT, the sharp sand and the cement with it. You get one take off to price up at the merchant, with your markup on it.
You can put a names only list on the customer's copy so they can see what you are supplying, with your buying and your markup kept to yourself.

A quote is the easy half. The half that eats your evenings is the deposit, the diary, the invoice and the chasing. That is the half InstaQuote does for you.
The deposit
You set the deposit on the quote. The customer pays it by card from the link on their phone, with nothing to install, and it lands in your account through Stripe.
The booking
The deposit books the job. They pick a free slot themselves, they get the confirmation and the reminder, and they can move it themselves from the same link.
The calendar
Your week fills in as the deposits land, and it syncs to Google so the diary on your phone matches the one in the van.
The materials
The take off from the quote is ready to go to your merchants for a price, with your markup on it and kept on your side of the paperwork.
The invoice
Mark the job done and the invoice is drafted for you, priced off the quote with the extras you added on site. One tap and it's gone.
The chasing
If it goes past its date, polite nudges go out in your name until it is paid. Three at most, then it stops and tells you. You are not the bad guy and you are not on the phone.
VAT and CIS
Work for a builder, a contractor or a developer and the CIS deduction and the VAT reverse charge are worked out on the quote and on the invoice. Work straight for a homeowner and they stay off. You set it per customer, not per quote.

Can it price a patio, a fence and turf in one quote?
Yes. Each bit of work is its own line on its own unit: the patio per m², the fencing per metre, the turf per m², the muck away as a job. They add up into one branded quote with the VAT worked out at the bottom.
Does it work out my slabs, MOT and sand?
Yes. Each line of work carries its own materials list, so the take off builds itself as the quote does. You can add your markup, price it up with your merchant and keep the money side off the customer's copy; they just see the materials you are supplying, if you want them to see that at all.
Can I take a deposit before I order the slabs?
Yes, and most landscapers do. You set the deposit on the quote, the customer pays it by card from the link on their phone, and the job books itself into your calendar the moment it lands.
Will a quote for a big garden still look the part?
It goes out as a branded PDF with your logo, the work split into sections, the price per line and the VAT shown properly. It is the same quote for a one panel fence repair as it is for a full rear garden that runs into five figures.
