InstaQuote is a UK app for tradespeople that runs the whole job after the quote: it takes the deposit, books the job in, invoices, chases late payment and keeps the books.

Most trade software helps you make a quote and then leaves you to it. InstaQuote is built the other way round. A trade speaks the job into their phone or photographs it, and it comes back priced from their own rates. When the customer accepts and pays the deposit, the job books itself into the calendar, the customer is told when they are coming, the invoice goes to the customer the day the work is marked done, and late payers are chased without anyone remembering to do it. VAT, CIS and the construction reverse charge are worked out as it goes. It is built in the UK, for UK rules, by InstaQuote Ltd in Coventry.

We read ten rival apps on their own websites between 18 and 26 September 2026: Tradify, Powered Now, Fergus, ServiceM8, Jobber, Commusoft, YourTradebase, QuickPrice, VoxTrade and PriceUp. Two things we didn't find on any of them:

• The customer pays the deposit on the quote the trade sent, the job books itself into the trade's next free days, and the customer can move the date themselves. No other app we checked does all of that from a quote the trade wrote.
• The books reconcile themselves from an uploaded bank statement, on the Accounts plan.

We say "no other trade app we checked" rather than "nobody", because that is what we can stand behind. The working is on our comparison page, rival by rival, with their prices and the date we read them.

Filing a VAT return to HMRC through Making Tax Digital is not live; InstaQuote keeps the digital records and works out the figures, and the trade or their accountant files. The Open Banking bank feed is not live. The Android app is built but not yet public on Google Play. The iPhone app is on the App Store, and everything works in a browser on any phone or computer.
