Built for UK heating engineers
A quoting app for heating engineers that doesn't stop at the quote. Price the boiler, the rads and the service from your own rates, then it takes the deposit, books the job in and gets you paid.

The only bit you do
Say it from the kitchen: combi swap, two rads moved, a power flush and a smart stat. It comes back itemised per job, priced off your own rates, with the VAT worked out.
Voice note the survey, or photo the boiler and the pipework. Installs, rads, flushes and certificates come back as separate priced lines.
Put a tape in shot, tap two points and it measures. Anything you didn't measure is marked for you to check.
Priced from your own per job rates. Heating and gas starts you at £2,950 for a supplied and fitted combi, £260 a radiator, £450 for a power flush and a £300 day rate, and you change every figure to yours.
Your price list, day one
Real UK starting prices for heating engineers, already in your list on the first day. Every one of them is yours to change, and your rates are what the quotes price from.
| Work | Starter price |
|---|---|
| Supply & fit combi boiler | £2,950/each |
| Supply & fit radiator | £260/each |
| Power flush system | £450/each |
| Gas safety certificate (CP12) | £70/each |
| Gas engineer day rate | £300/day |
Starting points for 2025 and 2026, meant to be tuned to your patch. Change one in Settings and every future quote uses it.
Gas work carries a deliberately lean list, because you buy your own: the boiler, the flue kit, the valves and the filter against the lines that need them. Add or change any of it in a tap.
You can put a names only list on the customer's copy so they can see what you are supplying, with your buying and your markup kept to yourself.
After you tap Send
A quote is the easy half. The half that eats your evenings is the deposit, the diary, the invoice and the chasing. That is the half InstaQuote does for you.
The deposit
You set the deposit on the quote. The customer pays it by card from the link on their phone, with nothing to install, and it lands in your account through Stripe.
The booking
The deposit books the job. They pick a free slot themselves, they get the confirmation and the reminder, and they can move it themselves from the same link.
The calendar
Your week fills in as the deposits land, and it syncs to Google so the diary on your phone matches the one in the van.
The materials
The take off from the quote is ready to go to your merchants for a price, with your markup on it and kept on your side of the paperwork.
The invoice
Mark the job done and the invoice is drafted for you, priced off the quote with the extras you added on site. One tap and it's gone.
The chasing
If it goes past its date, polite nudges go out in your name until it is paid. Three at most, then it stops and tells you. You are not the bad guy and you are not on the phone.
VAT and CIS
Work for a builder, a contractor or a developer and the CIS deduction and the VAT reverse charge are worked out on the quote and on the invoice. Work straight for a homeowner and they stay off. You set it per customer, not per quote.
The books
On the Accounts plan (£89/mo) it keeps the books behind all of it: expenses, what each job actually made, and your VAT return figures ready for you or your accountant to file with HMRC.
7 days of the whole thing, on real jobs, before you pick a plan.
Plain pounds, no call with sales
No card to start the trial, so nothing can be taken by accident. Run real jobs through it for a week, then pick a plan. If you don't, your account pauses and nothing is deleted.

No. Your CP12 and your notification come from Gas Safe and your usual route, and we will not claim otherwise. InstaQuote quotes the work, books it in, invoices it and chases it if it goes unpaid.
Yes. The boiler is one line, the flue, the filter, the flush, the stat and the rads are their own lines, so the customer can see what they are paying for instead of one big number.
Yes. You set the deposit on the quote, they pay it by card on their phone, and the install books itself into your calendar the moment it lands.
Yes. A £90 service and a £4,600 system install are both jobs in the same calendar, both invoiced and both chased the same way. On the Accounts plan they both land in your books.
Quote the job in about a minute from your own rates. Then it takes the deposit, books the job in, drafts the invoice, chases the money and works out the VAT and CIS. You just turn up and do the work.
